The first several hundred disabled kids attending the Trout Derby this year at Roosevelt Lake will be giving a tackle box with supplies and new rod and reel and fish bait to try to catch a trout in Lake Roosevelt that was stocked by the State of Ohio. Awards will be given for various categories. And everyone will be encouraged to have a good time.

100 kids will receive an autographed tee shirt from the famous ALLIGATOR HUNTER Bruce Mitchell, who has been a faithful supported of the Trout derby and The TrueLure Dunn Whitetail Deer Farm since the beginning.

The object of the Derby is to prove fun and to help the children and veterans build self confidence and provide a lifetime of fun memories.
